Paul Watson, the renowned anti-whaling activist and founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, will remain in detention in Greenland until October 2, following a court ruling on Wednesday.
Watson, known for his decades-long fight against whaling and illegal fishing, was arrested in Greenland last month under charges related to his activities in the region.
Denmark court decided to extend Watson’s detention until October 2 to allow more time for the ongoing investigation.
