BREAKING NEWS: Three people killed in Nottingham in linked incidents; man arrested

Nottinghamshire Police have launched a murder investigation after three people were found dead in Nottingham on Tuesday morning. A 31-year-old man has been arrested for murder and is in police custody.

The first incident was reported at 4:01 a.m. (local time) when officers found two people dead on Peel Street in the city center. A few minutes later, police were alerted to another incident on North Sherwood Street where a van had tried to run over three people. The victims were taken to hospital with injuries.

At 4:12 a.m., police discovered another man dead on Bobbers Mill Road, just outside the city center. Police believe the three incidents are all linked and treat them as a single investigation.

Multiple roads have been closed and the local tram network has been suspended across Nottingham while police deal with the incident. Police have appealed for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
