Nottinghamshire Police have launched a murder investigation after three people were found dead in Nottingham on Tuesday morning. A 31-year-old man has been arrested for murder and is in police custody.
The first incident was reported at 4:01 a.m. (local time) when officers found two people dead on Peel Street in the city center. A few minutes later, police were alerted to another incident on North Sherwood Street where a van had tried to run over three people. The victims were taken to hospital with injuries.
At 4:12 a.m., police discovered another man dead on Bobbers Mill Road, just outside the city center. Police believe the three incidents are all linked and treat them as a single investigation.
