On the first day of the new year, Japan was struck by a powerful earthquake, resulting in a rising death toll of at least 6 people and a Tsunami warning. The seismic activity shook the nation, causing widespread panic and structural damage in affected areas

The earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.5 struck Ishikawa prefecture central Japan at on New Year’s Day. The epicenter was located west coast of Japan leading to intense tremors that were felt across a significant distance.

Emergency services were immediately deployed to the affected areas to assess the situation, assist, and initiate rescue operations. Search and rescue teams are tirelessly working to locate and aid any individuals who may be trapped under debris.
