On the first day of the new year, Japan was struck by a powerful earthquake, resulting in a rising death toll of at least 6 people and a Tsunami warning. The seismic activity shook the nation, causing widespread panic and structural damage in affected areas
The earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.5 struck Ishikawa prefecture central Japan at on New Year’s Day. The epicenter was located west coast of Japan leading to intense tremors that were felt across a significant distance.
