DPRK fired several cruise missiles towards the sea off its west coast early on Saturday, South Korea’s military said, in a show of defiance against joint military exercises by South Korea and the United States.
The missile launches, which came at around 4 a.m. local time, were the latest in a series of provocative actions by Pyongyang, which has ramped up its missile and nuclear activities this year.
