Fateh’s Reformists Demand Global Condemnation of Israeli Genocide in Gaza

Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction stands in resolute condemnation of the reprehensible Israeli government rhetoric that labels over 10,000 civilians, including more than 4,500 innocent children, who were slaughtered in its genocide in Gaza as ‘terrorists’. This official Israeli stance is reinforced by genocidal statements made by an Israeli minister, Amichai Eliyahu, who expressed yesterday consideration for the use of nuclear weapons against Gaza’s civilian population and likened humanitarian aid such as water and medicine for child to aiding ‘Nazis,’ all of which are deeply concerning.

Dimitri Diliani, the spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, states: “The Israeli government’s rhetoric and war crimes betray a dangerous disregard for international law, basic human morality and indicative of Israeli social values of supremacy and bigotry.”

Diliani adds: “the recent rhetoric from Israeli officials reaches a new nadir, with implications that cannot be underestimated. To consider the use of nuclear weapons against Palestinian civilians and to declare that there are ‘no innocent people in Gaza’ is an alarming departure from any semblance of humanity and respect for human life, and a sign to a more violent upcoming phase of the Israeli pogrom in Gaza.”

Diliani clarifies that such a socially acceptable official rhetoric underscore a larger issue: the dehumanization of the Palestinian people. The Netanyahu’s government’s employment of Israeli society’s acceptable values of bigotry and supremacy permeates its political institutions and security forces, calling into question the rationale behind the support of such a heinous, bigoted, and supremacist regime by democratic nations, such as the United States and its allies.

Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction calls for international solidarity and resolute action to address this untenable situation of Israeli genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza. It is the moral obligation of all nations, specially those upholding democratic values, to reevaluate their support for a regime that exhibits such a humanly unacceptable disposition.
