UK Labour leader Keir Starmer has strongly criticized the government’s plan to deport migrants to Rwanda, calling for the scheme to be abandoned immediately. This is the first major setback to Conservatives Rishi Sunak passed bill to deport the Asylum seekers to Rwanda.
Starmer argued that the bill which aims to relocate asylum seekers to Rwanda for processing, lacks compassion and fails to address the root causes of migration.
Conservatives faced criticism over the anti-Migrants policies and subsequently meet a historic defeat.
