Israeli brutal use of heavy artillery shelling, aerial bombardments, and ground battles has left the city in ruins, with its streets eerily empty and buildings reduced to rubble.
Humanitarian organizations report that over 80% of the city’s population has been displaced, seeking refuge in neighboring towns or in makeshift shelters within Gaza’s borders. The local infrastructure has been severely damaged, with hospitals, schools, and residential buildings bearing the brunt of the destruction. Electricity and water supplies are sporadic at best, complicating efforts to provide aid to the remaining residents.
