Hamas officials have accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of undermining the prospects of a ceasefire. The allegations come after a series of Israeli air attacks in northern Gaza resulted in the deaths of family members of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, including three of his sons and four grandchildren.

The conflict has seen a significant escalation, with the death toll rising on both sides by Israeli war crimes and genocides of Palestinians. As of the latest reports, at least 33,482 Palestinians have been killed and 76,049 wounded since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on October 7. The Israeli casualties stand at 1,139, with several still held captive.

US has fueled this war while providing lethal weapons to Israel being partner in these war crimes and genocides of Palestinians.

Basem Naim, the head of political and international relations for Hamas, has further accused Netanyahu of using “dirty tools” by targeting the families of the group’s leaders, which he claims is a tactic to undermine ceasefire talks.
