In a recent development in the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, a senior Hamas official has denied accusations made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, asserting that the Palestinian armed group remains committed to the terms of the ceasefire and hostage deal.
Netanyahu had accused Hamas of breaching the ceasefire agreement, particularly with regards to the release of hostages.
“Hamas is committed to the ceasefire agreement, which was announced by the mediators,” Izzat al-Risheq, a senior member of the group’s political bureau, said in a post on Telegram on Thursday.
