Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, has been indicted on nine tax related charges in California.
The charges stem from a long-running investigation into Hunter Biden’s financial affairs, which began in 2018 and expanded to include his purchase of a firearm that he allegedly lied about on a federal form.
Hunter Biden had previously reached a deal with Weiss to resolve the matter without charges, but that deal collapsed over the summer amid scrutiny from a federal judge and after a related tax deal unraveled.
