Israeli aggression in southern Lebanon have intensified, with reports of at least 11 people killed in recent airstrikes and ground advances. Lebanese state media and health officials say the strikes targeted areas in the Tyre district and other border villages, including Maaroub and Qana.
Israeli forces have conducted lethal aggression involving the occupation and destruction of several villages near the Lebanon-Israel border. Videos and satellite imagery show mass detonations of homes in places like Taybeh, Naqoura, and Deir Seryan as part of efforts to establish a “security zone” up to the Litani River. Israel has ordered evacuations and stated that residents will not be allowed to return until its northern border is secured.
The actions come despite a fragile ceasefire extension brokered with U.S. involvement. Both sides accuse each other of violations, with Israel targeting Hezbollah infrastructure and fighters, while Lebanese reports highlight civilian casualties and widespread destruction in dozens of villages.
