Reports emerged on Tuesday that Israeli forces entered Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis, located in the southern Gaza Strip, as stated by the state-run Palestine TV. The Palestine Red Crescent Society released a statement indicating that the hospital’s outer wall was demolished, prompting Israeli forces to instruct displaced individuals and medical personnel to evacuate immediately.

The hospital’s vicinity has experienced significant Israeli shelling in recent days, resulting in numerous casualties, injuries, and the displacement of hundreds of Palestinians in the area. Al-Amal Hospital has served as a refuge for thousands of Palestinians affected by Israeli shelling in different parts of Khan Younis.

In response to the escalating situation, the International Committee of the Red Cross issued a call for the protection of civilians amidst the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.
