New Zealand PM Hipkins to Visit China at End of June

New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins announced on Monday a visit to China later this month aimed at boosting trade ties.

Hipkins, who became the 41st prime minister of New Zealand and leader of the New Zealand Labour Party in January 2023, following the resignation of Jacinda Ardern, said he would lead a delegation of business leaders and government officials to China from June 28 to July 2.
