The European Union’s foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has urged Israel to refrain. Borrell, who visited Israel on Thursday, said that “one horror does not justify another” as Israeli forces continue to bombard the Gaza Strip, where more than 12000 Palestinians have been killed, mainly children and women.
