Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Joe Biden will speak through a video link on Tuesday as the tension between Russia and US is increasing after the US accusations that Russia is planning to invade Ukraine.
Russia however rejected all these allegations leveled by the US regarding the Ukraine invasion.
The video meeting between Biden and Putin comes after the ministerial meeting of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of state Antony Blinken.
On Friday, US President Biden warned with using the wording “very, very difficult” for Mr. Putin to “go ahead and do what people are worried he may do”.
According to a statement issued on Saturday evening, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that Mr. Biden will “underscore US concerns with Russian military activities on the border with Ukraine and reaffirm the United States’ support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine” during his call with the Russian president.
