In a dramatic escalation of political tensions, South Korea’s opposition parties have filed a second impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk Yeol, citing allegations of abuse of power and martial law.
As the President Yoon Suk Yeol whose Martial Law ignited a severe political crisis in South Korea vows to defend and fight till the end.
The Martial Law though it was null and void by Parliament, but the repercussion of this act has been long lasting, and it further led to the political chaos.
The country former defense minister has been already arrested and the police riads on President Yoon Suk Yeol house to collect evidence.
The move comes as more members of the ruling party have indicated they will support the motion, significantly increasing the likelihood that it may succeed.
