Pakistan a country whose 70% population is comprised on youth demands the old politicians to retire and pave the way to youngsters to decide about their future.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former youngest foreign minister of Pakistan, has urged the veteran politicians of the country to retire and make way for the new generation of leaders. In a speech at a public rally in Citral, Bilawal said that the old guard of the PPP and other parties had failed to deliver on the promises of democracy, development and peace. He said that the youth of Pakistan deserved a better future and a more progressive vision.
“They [veteran politicians] should either have a rest in their farmhouses or madrassas and pray for the welfare of the country and people acknowledging they can no more get along with modern times,” he said without naming names.
