The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip has taken a heavy toll on the health sector, as Israeli forces have reportedly targeted ambulances and medical facilities in the besieged enclave.

These attacks are the violations of international law.

The health ministry in Gaza also denounced what it called direct and systematic attacks on ambulances, saying that 15 health institutions and 23 ambulances have been hit since Saturday.

The international community has expressed grave concern over the humanitarian situation in Gaza and called for an immediate ceasefire.
